Where can I buy my tickets?
Tickets can be purchased on April 3, 2017
Do I need to bring a ticket with me that shows I purchased a seat? What other things do I need to bring?
We aim to be "green" and reduce our footprint. No paper tickets are issued. When you purchase your ticket(s) you will automatically be entered into our event night registration system. Just bring with you the form of payment you would like to use for paying for all your treasures.
What time does event start?
Guest check-in opens at 5:30pm in the upstairs Pavilion Ballroom at the Hilton Hotel. During check in you will be provided with your bid number, auction catalog and your table number. Our silent auction opens at 5:30pm and goes till 6:45pm. Don't miss out though on all the great items up for bidding.
Help! What do I wear?
We hear you! It's Portland so you know the rule "anything goes!" Okay not "anything", but most of our guests dress for a fun evening out. This could be a cocktail dress, business causal, some guys are in suits, some more causal. It's totally up to you. We are just thrilled you are joining us for the evening.
Can I buy my ticket at the door?
Ticket sales are open from April 3rd to May 5th. We are unable to sell tickets on the day of the event.
Is alcohol included in the ticket price?
We have included complimentary wine and beer in our ticket price throughout the evening. You will find bars located in the galleria areas where the silent auction will be along with in the main grandball room foyer. During our silent auction we also serve a complimentary signature cocktail. Beer or wine not your thing? We also will be serving complimentary soft drinks, ice tea and bottle water throughout the evening. There will also be a no host bar if you desire something different.
What type of payment do you take? Do I have to pay for my items night of event?
You can pay with cash, check, Visa, Mastercard or American Express. You will be given a receipt at end of night detailing your purchases and the fair market value of every item. We do need guests to pay for all their purchases on the night of the event. No winning merchandise will be given until payment has been received.
Can I bring my children to Lights of Hope?
It's up to you. The event is more adult focused but your welcome to bring your child. Please remember alcohol is being served and you will be responsible for keeping an eye on your child. You will not have access to babysitting at the Hilton.
Where do I park?
You have several options for event night parking. Valet parking is available in front of the hotel for a fee. We do have vouchers for complimentary parking at the 5th & Taylor Garage. Your parking voucher will be given to you during check in on the night of the event.
Do I get to choose my meal?
When you register online you will be able to make your menu choice. We will also have an option for special dietary needs.
